Ngày khớp lệnh mua cổ phiếu thành công là T+0. Ngày làm việc tiếp theo của thị trường chứng khoán (không bao gồm thứ 7, chủ nhật, các ngày nghỉ lễ theo quy định của Nhà nước) được gọi là T+1. Cộng thêm 01 ngày giao dịch nữa được gọi là T+2. \
Cổ phiếu mua vào ngày T+0 sẽ về tài khoản và được phép giao dịch từ phiên chiều của ngày T+2.

VD: Bạn mua cổ phiếu ABC vào thứ Sáu tuần trước, ngày 07/02/2025. Hôm đó sẽ được gọi là ngày T+0.

Khi đó bạn sẽ phải đợi đến 13h ngày T+2 - thứ Ba, ngày 11/02/2025 cổ phiếu về và ngay chiều hôm đó bạn có thể bán được.

Vậy là ngày thứ Sáu tuần trước là T+0, thứ Hai là T+1, thứ Ba là T+2.
